From first pin to leaderboard
A round takes about a minute. Here's the full loop, step by step.
Open a round
Tap play. A property loads with a few photos and blurred clues — no address, no price.
Study the evidence
Read the photos for style, era, and setting. Interior shots hint at size and condition.
Drop your pin
Move the map and place a pin where you think the home sits. You can zoom for precision.
Set your valuation
Enter your best guess at the final sold price using the slider or keypad.
Spend clues — or don't
Reveal area, rooms, year built, or sold date if you're stuck. Each one lowers your max score.
Submit and score
See your distance, your price gap, and the points for both. Did you beat the agent?
Play smarter, score higher
Read before you reveal
Squeeze every hint from the photos before spending a clue. Windows, floors, and finishes tell a story.
Think in gradients
Prices fall along rivers, rail lines, and away from the centre. Pin along the gradient, not at random.
Learn your city floor
Every market has a baseline price per square metre. Anchor there, then adjust up or down.
Frequently asked, right here
Is PinThePrice free?
Yes. The core game is free on Android, iOS, and the web. An optional PinThePrice Plus tier removes limits and adds extra modes — see the pricing section.
Do I need to create an account?
You can try a round in the browser with no sign-up. To save scores, join leagues, and sync across devices, create a free account or use social login.
Where do the property photos come from?
Listings and their images are served from our own object storage. We show photos and a few clues — never the address — until after you guess.
Is this financial or valuation advice?
No. PinThePrice is a game for entertainment and learning. Scores are not appraisals and must not be used for real transactions.
How is my location used?
With permission, your approximate position surfaces nearby properties and measures guess distance. You can deny location and still play using a chosen area. See the privacy policy.
